The Heceta Light Returns!

On September 15, during a wedding , we were surprised and delighted to discover the lighthouse beam shining bright in the sky again. The State Park completed the repairs earlier than the September 30 deadline that was announced previously in July. Interpretive Center visitors and B&B guests can once again view the tower and its light beam that the First Order Fresnel lens creates.

Tours of the Keeper’s Home are available Sept 22, 23, and 30th from 11-3 and by appointment throughout the rest of fall, winter and spring. Tours of the lighthouse are everyday from 11-3, weather and staffing dependent. The Gift Shop is open daily 11-5 through the end of September, and then weekends in October.

The B&B is open year round for over night guests to enjoy the history, wine social, and 7 Course Breakfast.
