The 123-year-old Lighthouse and Keeper’s Home offer amazing views of the Oregon Coast and at the same time it is a home where family and friends can feel comfortable and relaxed. Although every couple has been lured to Heceta Head for these reasons, each wedding we have experienced has been unique.  We appreciate each family’s diversity and look forward to joining in your celebration!

We have created our wedding packages to fit the needs of couples who would like to arrive on the day of their wedding and have all their planning completed for them.  Wedding packages are available for groups up to 30 people and offered year round.  A catered reception can also be added to these packages.

Weddings of 30-200 people can be accommodated in a tent in the fenced 1 acre yard west of the Keeper’s home.  The price of these weddings at Heceta Lighthouse B&B will vary depending on the date of the wedding, the type of wedding you choose, and the number of guests attending.

Along the way to the big day we will be here to answer any of your questions, offer advice and help you find all of the resources you need for your wedding planning.  Our vendor list will be extremely valuable for it has saved many couples a lot of time and energy finding the best local services.  If it’s not on our list, we will help you find it.

The Details
The Heceta Lighthouse B&B can provide wedding service for small intimate ceremonies and for larger groups for a gala event. Inside the Keeper’s House we are able to host a sit down dinner for up to 30 people. A canopy tent can be placed within the fenced acre next to the Keeper’s House to accommodate 30 to 200 for a sit down dinner. Weekends during our peak season usually require an agreement to hold the ceremony and catered reception with the whole house rented. A ceremony only option can be arranged when our calendar permits and we do have wedding packages available for ceremonies with 2-30 guests.

Wedding Consulting
The Heceta Lighthouse B&B staff will assist in the planning and set up on your wedding day. We provide prior services such as wedding consultations, as well as day-of services, such as a wedding day facilitator and assistance with set-up. We will provide resources and advice for each phase of your wedding planning.
Our vendor list offers an extensive and diverse group of professionals, all who have proven to be the best in the area. Whether you are looking for flowers, music or the perfect cake, this list will save you considerable time and offers the best local services.

Wedding and Reception Set Up
The Heceta Head Lighthouse B&B staff will be responsible for catering set up and clean up and will assist the wedding party with other details. Special decorations, flowers, and place settings are your personal touch and may be provided by family or outside vendors.

The Ceremony
There are several options for the location of your wedding ceremony at the Lightstation. You can choose to have your ceremony at the Keeper’s
House on the west lawn, where the sun sets each night behind the rocks and the lighthouse stands watch. Others find the parlors in the Keeper’s House an intimate atmosphere to exchange vows. Special arrangements can be made with Oregon State Parks to have your ceremony at the beach below, and groups of ten people or less can choose a ceremony next to the Lighthouse. The Wedding Feast
The Heceta Head Lightstation offers catering services for those interested in some of the finest cuisine to be found on the Oregon Coast. Head Chef, Michelle Korgan, along with her staff, prepare all foods using only the most local, freshest ingredients handpicked from local farms and artisan purveyors. Michelle’s mix of regional influences, world traveling, and 25 years of cooking
experience are yours to create a memorable meal.
For parties of 30 or less we can provide a plated meal. For guest lists that are more than 30 people we can provide either family style or buffet dinner options.
The Heceta Head Lighthouse B&B caters wedding receptions for up to 200 people—menus and cost vary depending upon the season and your menu choices. There is a catering minimum of $2000.00 or $40.00 per person.  Most of our catered events average $50-$60 per person. This minimum price includes all catering items for up to 30 guests. For parties of 30-200 all dishes and flatware must be rented, as well as other necessary rental items listed below. All catering at the Heceta Lighthouse B&B is done exclusively on site, with the exception of cakes, which are made and delivered by a variety of nearby specialty bakers and served by B&B catering staff.


Our wine list is regional, gathering the best varietals from Oregon, Washington and California. We can also special order most beer and wine. Please do not hesitate to request a beverage that is not on the list. We will be happy to try to find it for you. You are welcome to provide your own beer and wine for your event. Corkage fees of $21/ 750ml bottle of wine and $5/ 12 oz bottle of beer will be applied.

A 21% gratuity on all catering and beverages will be applied.

Bed and Breakfast Rooms
Catered wedding and reception reservations require rental of the 6 bed and breakfast rooms on the day of the wedding. We do not require a two night stay for a Saturday wedding but we do highly recommend renting at least a few of the rooms the night before so that you may have an early start on your wedding day. For smaller groups or ceremony only options you may be able to limit the number of rooms rented.  This will depend on the day and time of the wedding. The Keeper’s House can accommodate up to 15 guests for over night lodging . The Bed and Breakfast rates vary depending on season, day of week, and are based on double occupancy. Site Fee
A site fee is charged for any event to take place at the Lightstation beyond hosting guests at the bed and breakfast. This fee is based on the number of guests attending. Site fees are already included in our Wedding Packages.
Gratuity is due the day following the event.

Rental Necessities
Inside the Keeper’s House, we can accommodate 30 guests for a sit down catered event . All events with 30 or more guests must be held on the west lawn in a tent. Any catered event with more than 30 guests will require rental of the items listed below. For information on rentals call Destination Events in Eugene, 866-345-4476.

Cancellation policy
Room Cancellation Policy: Accommodation Fees are due at the time you make the reservation. If you cancel or change your room reservations at any time, there is a $25.00 fee per room. If you cancel or change your reservation within six months of your event, we will refund fees paid if we are able to re-rent the room.
Wedding Site Cancellation Policy: Fees are due at the time you make the reservation. If you cancel or change your wedding date the site fee is non-refundable.
Catering Cancellation Policy: Fees are due one month prior to the wedding date. If you cancel within one month of the event, the catering fees are not refundable.

Come one, come all to Heceta Head Lightstation’s Victorian Christmas Open House!

December 2017’s Celebration was blessed with excellent weather!  Visit us in 2018 to create more family memories:

Doors will be open to the public from 4-7 pm December 9th & 10th and 16th & 17th.

Enjoy the majesty of the beautifully decorated Keeper’s House! Each evening local musicians will perform your holiday favorites while local sponsors provide warm drinks and goodies! Santa Claus will also make a special appearance each evening.

Shuttle service from the state park below will be available. There is a $5 day use fee required for parking, admission to Keepers House is free.

Heceta Lighthouse Gift Shop will be open for those last minute gifts, and why not treat yourself too while you are there!

Lightstation Birthday Party

Heceta Lighthouse B&B honors the Heceta Head Lightstation first order Fresnel Lens first day of light with a birthday party each year!

Heceta Head Lightstation is now 123 years old. Join us each year on March 30th from 4 to 7 pm to celebrate the Heceta Head Lighthouse shining its light everyday upon the Oregon Coastline.

Birthday Party sponsors will be providing warm drinks and cupcakes. Dedicated vendors will donate food and activities!  Local musicians will perform at the historic Keeper’s House. State Park and USFS interpretive docents will be giving tours of the lighthouse and light keeper’s home, and informative talks about this gorgeous coast line.

Bring your camera to have your photo taken on the front porch with the lighthouse in the background to commemorate this fun community supported family event.  The Gift Shop will also be open and newly stocked with amazing souvenirs and informative books and videos.  Bring your lighthouse passports to be stamped!

Entry to the Keeper’s House is free but donations are gladly accepted.  Parking is available at the Heceta Head Lighthouse State Scenic View Point, just below the Keeper’s House, and NW Adventures Quest will shuttle visitors from the park right to the front door.  Or enjoy the beautiful spring walk up from the beach to the festivities. Parking at the viewpoint is $5.00 per vehicle.
