Dear Guests,


We hope you enjoy exploring this historic lightkeepers' home (built 1892-1894) and its awe-inspiring surroundings!


  • The Complimentary Wine and Cheese Social is from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
  • Relax in the dining room, parlors, and front porch. Use the fireplace (lighter and/or matches on the mantle) and enjoy music performed by you or your housemates on the guitar and piano!
  • We have a rotating selection of Pacific Northwest wines and beers for purchase, along with many local picnic style foods and convenience meals. Any staff member or the caretaker can assist you. A paper menu is available in the Guest Kitchen.
  • You are welcome to the honor bar snacks and drinks in the guest kitchen, as well as using all items in the guest kitchen. Please leave rinsed dishes for staff to collect and sanitize.
  • Smoking, vaping, burning candles, or the use of any flammable substances in the house and on the grounds is prohibited. The candles provided are battery-operated.
  • There is a phone in the West Dining Room to call the caretaker at 541-270-4776 (cell) after-hours and for local or toll-free numbers.
  • Visiting the lighthouse at night is a must-see! A flashlight is available in your room. A battery-operated lantern is in your closet/wardrobe in case of a power outage during a storm.
  • Breakfast is served at 8:30 AM.
  • If you are visiting on a day with no tours, a private history talk will be given after breakfast for interested parties. If the Gift Shop is closed for the day, we will open the gift shop for you for 30 minutes after breakfast. You can also shop online!
  • If you are staying more than one night and would like any towels or trash changed out, please leave them outside of your room and we will come and replace them for you.
  • Check out is at 11 AM. Please ask the staff if you may leave your vehicle in the parking lot until 2 PM while you enjoy the area. There may be an event prohibiting that.
  • Did you forget something? We might have it! Please ask any staff member.
  • We have provided all furnishings and amenities for your comfort during your stay. If any items are missing upon check out, they will be charged to your credit card on file. If you would like to purchase any items in your room, like the sheets or robes, please inquire with staff for new items.
  • If there is anything we can do to make your stay more enjoyable, let us know!
