Cape Perpetua Scenic Area & Ranger Programs
Dates: Most weekends throughout August 2026 (varies by program)
Just minutes north of Heceta Head, Cape Perpetua comes alive during the summer with ranger-led walks, tidepool explorations, nature talks, and evening programs. Guests can discover Thor's Well, Devil's Churn, old-growth forests, and breathtaking viewpoints while learning about the area's unique geology, wildlife, and coastal history. Programs are family-friendly and many are free with a day-use pass.

Yachats Big Band Summer Concert
